A familiar local favourite,
reimagined as a plush

Ang Ku Kueh 红龟粿 is a traditional Chinesepastry, originatef from Fujian, China and brought to Singapore centuries ago. Shaped like a tortoise shell and typically filled with mung bean or peanut paste, it symbolizes longevity and good fortune. In Singapore, AngKu Kueh is not only enjoyed during festive occasions and birthdays but also remains as beloved everyday snack across generations.
Ji Xiang has become a household name for Ang Ku Kueh since it opened in 1988. Known for its freshly handmade kueh with soft, chewy skin and classic fillings like mung bean, peanut, and coconut, Ji Xiang continues to preserve this heritage snack while also introducing new flavours to appeal to younger generations.
